Brendan: I have known your dad`s family for over 40 years, I think Herman was about 5 , ( I new your mothers side also. ) To start with your dad would be so Proud of what you have achieved in your life & your blog in his honour, we would catch up at K &Ms or at Murray`s talk shit like every one, talk bikes, what he is building parts he is looking for… I met you & your family along time ago, at the Wayville Show grounds , for the Speed Way, I had not seen him in years & he was so proud to introduce me to all his kids.. I have a photo that was taken in 1976 of a group of me & my mates fooling around, there is 9 in the photo, 3 committed Suicide, & only 3 are still with us.. I look at this & think of all the good times & I would say you do the same with yours.. Your partner & you together look made for each other, hope all your dreams come true, & More to the point I hope this blog you have put together helps others.. Cheers Brendon… you look so much like your dad…

Cheers Daryl. Unreal. I spent a lot of time at K&M’s when I was a kid haha. I would love to see the photo – you’ll have to scan it one day and send it to me. Have a look at my clothing brand – http://www.hermanshands.com – named after my old man. It’s the next step I’ve taken after this blog to help raise awareness etc. Thanks for sharing man I appreciate it!

Hey Brendan, we went to school together- it’s amazing to see how well you’ve done with everything! I work for child protection now and In the mental health industry so I’ve met a lot of children and adults that have lost people to mental health. Keep doing what you are doing!!
